USING SOCIAL TO ACCELERATE YOUR BUSINESS

Havas Creative, formerly known as Havas Worldwide and Euro RSCG, is a French advertising agency.

It is one of the largest integrated marketing communications agencies in the world. The firm provides advertising, marketing, and corporate communications services.
For the Cannes Lions Festival 2010 the then called agency Euro RSCG teamed up with IBM to organize a workshop for business leaders discussing the impact of social media as a business accelerator. For advertising purposes a poster and postcards were created to announce the event during the festival.
THE DESIGN
Under the title “Using Social to Accelerate Your Business” we decided on a hand drawn font idea. Explosive “spiky” typography for the slogan masked a transitional color hue. Together, color and sharp shapes, gave the topic a certain urgency and speed, or for a better word “acceleration”. The result is a bold, colorful and animated typographic solution, ready for the social age.
